The Hershey Bears have announced the club's specialty jersey themes for the 2023 - 2024 season, including 12X Calder Cup Champions Warm Up Jerseys being worn on October 14 and 15.
The Bears will be starting the season in style and celebrating the club's historic 2023 Calder Cup Championship by wearing a specialty jersey for a pair of games during the opening weekend of the 2023-24 season.
The sublimated specialty jersey will be worn during warm-ups prior to Opening Night on Saturday, Oct. 14 as well as prior to the game on Sunday, Oct. 15. Following Sunday's game, which is the club's first Hersheypark Pass Night of the year, they will be auctioned off to benefit charity.

The jersey features the Calder Cup on the crest, adorned with 12 gold stars to celebrate the club's 12th title. The shoulders include Hershey's Calder Cup Championship logo, and the right chest features a "They Poked the Bear" circular logo, recognizing the extra motivation Hershey had to claim the Calder Cup in seven games.
These jerseys will be the first of four specialty jerseys that Hershey will wear during the 2023-24 season. The club will wear Hockey Fights Cancer themed jerseys during warm-ups on Nov. 12 as part of the club's annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night. Additionally, on Dec. 10, the Bears will get into the holiday spirit with an Ugly Christmas Sweater jersey. The club will also wear an additional specialty jersey in 2024 with further details to be announced.
The Hershey Bears hockey club donates a portion of the sale of all jersey auctions to several area nonprofit organizations as part of its community-focused Hershey Bears Cares initiative. Beneficiaries for the 2023 - 2024 season are Troopers Helping Troopers, Friends of Derry Township Police K9, Hershey Fire, Feel Your Boobies, Penn State Cancer Institute, Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region, Toys for Tots - Harrisburg, Central Pennsylvania Food Bank and Hershey Food Bank.
