The Hershey Bears have announced the club's specialty jersey themes for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season.
The Bears will wear a camo-themed specialty jersey for both Hometown Heroes Night games, which will take place on Sunday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Feb. 8. Following the Feb. 8 game, the jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit charitable organizations.
The club will also host three other specialty jersey games that feature post-game auctions for charity. The Bears will wear Hockey Fights Cancer-themed jerseys on Nov. 30 as part of the club's annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night. The team will also sport a throwback-inspired jersey on Jan. 19 that features elements from uniforms worn during the club's previous back-to-back Calder Cup wins. The final specialty jersey night of the season will be Autism Awareness on Apr. 6.
The Hershey Bears hockey club donates a portion of the sale of all jersey auctions to several area nonprofit organizations as part of its community-focused Hershey Bears Cares initiative. Beneficiaries for the 2024-2025 season are the Autism Society of Greater Harrisburg, Caitlin's Smiles, Central Penn Panthers, Help The Fight, Hershey History Center, Hershey Jr. Bears, Lancaster Firebirds, Palmyra Black Knights, Vista School and the York Devils.
